Three towns make up the political structure of Anna Maria Island. Anna Maria at the northern end, Holmes Beach in the center and Bradenton Beach at the southern tip. Easily access to the mainland is provided by two bridges, while a third bridge connects Anna Maria Island to Longboat Key. LONGBOAT KEY Stretching narrowly for twelve sun-drenched miles between the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay, Longboat Key provides an ideal beach and bayfront setting for the ultimate Florida vacation and lifestyle.
